The Experiment
What happens when you give an AI only two words to work with—a U.S. state name and "rain"? This was my weekend experiment, and the results were surprisingly diverse and emotionally resonant.
The Process
I prompted Suno with combinations like:
- "Mississippi rain"
- "California rain"
- "Texas rain"
- "Oregon rain"
Each prompt generated a unique song with its own mood, tempo, and lyrical approach. Some were bluesy and soulful, others were more folk or country-influenced.
The Results
The AI seemed to understand the cultural and geographical associations with different states, creating songs that felt authentic to each region's musical traditions.
